Super Heavy Duty PCB Terminals for High Current Applications (115A ) and Current Shunting

 

When you have 100A plus currents or need to move the current to an adjacent Power Device, the B2A-PCB-PT-X and B2C-PCB-PT-X can do FOUR things:

 

1) More than 2X the current shunting from the PCB terminal to the underside foil or to intermediate multi-layer foils inside the PCB
2) Move current from the lug location to a place nearby with built in heavy copper bussing and so lower the I^2R Watts losses.
3) Act as a heat sink for more heat dissipation to air for High Current applications.
4) Anchor the PCB lug for high resistance to short term wire pull forces.

 

For full sized AWG 2  wires we recommend the B2C body since the wire hole is a little larger.

For 3 AWG and 4 AWG applications the B2C body is suitable and compact.
